Alright, Bucs. Take that Raiders!
So I wound up 4-7 against the spread in the playoffs, pretty poor, but 8-3 picking winners, not bad. I think that the favorite wins about 70 or 80% of the time normally, and I was at 72.7%, around average. So basically, don't ever take my advice on football bets, at least until I prove myself better than this, but I could be a lot worse. Tuesday Morning Quarterback has a good breakdown of people's bad predictions for the year. I do think he doesn't seem to understand that highly specific predictions are done at least partly tongue-in-cheek, or they are for me anyway. Anyway, he's usually an entertaining read.
I highly recommend reading Justin Raimondo for a good breakdown of the bullshit we hear and see coming from politicians. He tends to ramble on a bit and isn't always right, but he also has a lot of insights that are worth paying attention to.
Also, take this quiz on Iraq, and check your answers here. I think you'll find it illuminating.
