Time for my Superbowl pick. Oakland is favored by 4, I believe. I really dislike Oakland. A lot. I have no strong feelings either way about Tampa Bay. So I'm definitely rooting for Tampa Bay to win. Unfortunately, the Raiders have a better team. Certainly the Bucs defense is the best, but the Raider D is often overlooked despite being pretty good. Oakland has an excellent offense, while Tampa's seems a bit suspect to me, though not bad either. They say that it took a while for them to get all of Gruden's schemes down, which sounds reasonable, but I still don't think they're nearly as talented as Oakland's offense, overall. All that being said, I still think the Bucs will win the game, due to Gruden. It just seems like too much of an advantage to have Oakland's coach from the last few years on their side. I mean, Parcells was able to beat the Pats after heading to the Jets, and the Pats were far better than NY. I wouldn't be shocked if Oakland wins, and I think the game could be determined in the trenches, Oakland's O-line against Tampa's pass rush, but the overall talent differential seems smaller than the coaching factor.
