Today is an important day, the fifieth anniversary of Joseph Stalin's death. Of all the evil men to gain power in the twentieth century, he was probably the worst. May we never see his likes again. Some notable quotes that sum his philosophy of life (if we can call it that) up well: 'A single death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic.' 'Death is the solution to all problems...No man, no problem.' 'If you kill one man, you are a murderer, if you kill a thousand men, you are a conquerer, if you kill everyone, you are God.' Here's a short profile if you want.
